As AI reshapes workplaces, we face a critical choice: will we harness this technology to strengthen our movement, or risk falling behind?
From supercharging member engagement or increasing the impact of our organising to handling hundreds of emails at once, taking notes in meetings and providing faster, better member support ... there's huge potential for AI to reduce burdensome work, increase union impact and make our movement stronger.
Hundreds of union staff around the world have already started their AI journeys with us in our unique courses, designed specifically for unions and their staff. These are practical, hands-on online or in-person workshops for unions who want to help their staff understand AI better and give them the tools to use it effectively and responsibly.
The course was very easy to listen to and follow … you have taken a massive topic and broken it down into manageable chunks. Also liked your use of everyday examples."
Our workshops go beyond the typical AI discussions about the workplace or member impact of AI (though that's crucial) to showcase case studies of ethical use of AI in unions and explore how union staff can responsibly use AI to transform our daily work.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to shape how our movement approaches AI.

Course content
What is AI and why does it matter?
We’ll relate the capabilities of AI to union staff’s everyday work and to that of their trade union and analyse how trade unions could be impacted by the rapid development of AI and its adoption by members and society.
Using Generative AI to support union work
We will help union staff to: determine appropriate generative AI tools and partnership techniques for their current role and tasks; develop and apply good practice in generative AI prompting or conversations; and critically assess generative AI outputs for quality, accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
Using AI responsibly and ethically
We will illustrate the challenges of using AI in a responsible manner, offering examples of where AI has been used responsibly and irresponsibly in the real world and helping union staff to apply mitigating strategies to guide a more responsible use of AI.
"This course has been such a revelation to me. I knew so little about AI and its use in work... absolutely fascinating. I feel like I've been ignoring something so useful."
